How many people were old enough to vote in Williamsburg County during 2021?

Of the 31,279 citizens living in Williamsburg County in 2021, 79.2% were old enough to vote, equating to 24,766 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 11,673 were male, constituting 47.1%, and 13,093 were female, making up 52.9%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Williamsburg County during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 78.1%.
