In the week ending Jan. 31, one gas station in Dillon County sold regular gas at the lowest reported price of $2.35 per gallon, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.
The average reported price of regular gas across the county was $2.53 per gallon.
GasBuddy reports show that regular gas was available at four of the 33 reported gas stations in Dillon County.
The average reported price for a gallon of regular gas in South Carolina was $2.59, down from the previous week.
U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
