Congressman Russell Fry, who has been serving South Carolina’s 7th district since 2023 after replacing Tom Rice, recently shared his views on key national issues through a series of tweets. Fry, a resident of Murrells Inlet and an alumnus of the University of South Carolina and Charleston School of Law, often emphasizes policies that align with the “America First” agenda.
On June 16, 2025, Congressman Fry expressed support for President Biden’s legislative proposal by stating “@POTUS’ One Big Beautiful Bill is the blueprint to restoring our country.” He highlighted the bill’s objectives such as cutting taxes, securing borders, strengthening the military, and prioritizing America.
In another tweet dated June 17, 2025, Fry addressed immigration enforcement issues by asserting “You can’t break the law and expect nothing to happen…” He attributed responsibility to Democrats for allegedly encouraging illegal immigrants to disregard U.S. laws without facing consequences.
Later that day, Fry reiterated his stance on energy policy with a brief statement “Couldn’t have said it better myself. America First means energy FIRST!” This aligns with his consistent advocacy for policies that prioritize American energy independence.
