Congressman Russell Fry, representing South Carolina’s 7th district since 2023, recently shared his thoughts on social media regarding a significant legislative package known as the One Big Beautiful Bill (OBBB). Fry, who succeeded Tom Rice in Congress and previously served in the South Carolina House of Representatives, has been vocal about the bill’s potential impact.
On July 2, 2025, Fry announced an upcoming appearance on Fox Business to discuss OBBB. He urged viewers to tune in by posting “Coming up on @FoxBusiness to talk OBBB—TUNE IN!”
Later that day, Fry emphasized the importance of the bill for Americans. He posted “I didn’t drive through the night for nothing. The One Big Beautiful Bill is the most important package we’ve seen in decades—and it delivers real results for hard-working Americans. We’re at the 1-yard line, folks. It’s time to get it done!”
On July 3, he continued his advocacy with a call to action directed at undecided voters regarding the bill. He tweeted “Let’s get this done! It’s time to come home for those sitting on the sidelines. Vote YES on BBB”
Russell Fry was born in Surfside Beach, South Carolina in 1985 and currently resides in Murrells Inlet. A graduate of the University of South Carolina and Charleston School of Law, he holds both a BA and JD.
