U.S. Congressman Russell Fry, who represents South Carolina’s 7th district, recently shared updates on his activities in the state through a series of posts on social media.
On August 14, 2025, Fry posted about his visit to a local business in Myrtle Beach: “Great to be at Minuteman in Myrtle Beach for a behind-the-scenes tour. I got to shadow the store manager, learn the ropes behind the counter, and even serve a few customers myself. Always grateful for the hardworking men and women who keep South Carolina running strong!”
The following day, August 15, Fry highlighted his participation in a law enforcement summit alongside several officials: “Honored to join @AGPamBondi, @AGAlanWilson, @RepTimmons, @RepJoeWilson, and @RepSheriBiggs for a law enforcement summit in South Carolina. Together, we’ll secure our border, help survivors rebuild, and advance President Trump’s mission to keep America safe!”
Later that same day he commented on recent national developments with a brief statement: “HISTORIC! This is exactly what America voted for”
Fry has served as U.S. Representative since 2023 after replacing Tom Rice. Before joining Congress, he was a member of the South Carolina House of Representatives from 2015 to 2022. Born in Surfside Beach in 1985 and currently residing in Murrells Inlet at age 38, Fry graduated from the University of South Carolina with a BA and later earned his JD from Charleston School of Law.
