On Friday, May 9, former Marlboro Academy Inc. standout Laney McLaurin’s current collegiate team the Wingate Bulldogs won 12-10 against the Flagler Saints in the NCAA Division II Softball Championship.
The game took place at FMU Softball Stadium at 7 p.m. and was the second matchup against the Flagler Saints in the tournament.
The Wingate Bulldogs’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 10 at 1 p.m. at FMU Softball Stadium.
