Today, Congressman Russell Fry from South Carolina’s 7th District issued a statement on the passage of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act. The legislation, according to Fry, is designed to bring significant changes for American workers by reducing taxes and regulatory burdens.
“The One Big Beautiful Bill is a game-changer for hardworking Americans,” stated Fry. He emphasized that the bill aims to deliver tangible results such as lower taxes, reduced bureaucracy, and increased freedom for families. Additionally, it prevents what he described as “the largest tax increase in our nation’s history.”
The bill includes measures like eliminating taxes on tips and overtime pay and providing tax relief for seniors. It also seeks to curb government spending with projected savings exceeding $1 trillion. Furthermore, the act addresses border security and prioritizes domestic energy resources.
Fry credited Speaker Mike Johnson and former President Donald J. Trump for their leadership roles in bringing this legislation to fruition. He remarked, “The One Big Beautiful Bill is proof that when Republicans are in charge, America wins.”
