On Saturday, March 22, former West Florence High School standout George Derrick Floyd’s current college team, the Citadel Bulldogs, won 8-0 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Mercer Bears.
The game took place at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park. This was their second matchup against the Bears this season.
The Bulldogs’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 23 at 1 p.m. at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park against Mercer Bears.
