Academy for Careers and Technology enrolls 41 undergrads

At Academy for Careers and Technology, 69 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 95 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The public school in Mullins enrolled 41 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. No undergraduates were transferred from another college or university.

90 percent of undergraduates are residents of South Carolina, and 3 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as Black or African American (78 percent) and white (20 percent).
