Marion County School District issued the following announcement on July 14.
The Marion County School District will be receiving Elementary and Secondary Schools Emergency Relief Funds (ESSER III) to address learning needs and recovery due to the COVID-19 pandemic. These funds are for one-time or short-term expenditures to address the ongoing impact of the pandemic.
Marion County School District stakeholder input is desired in order to develop a plan to allocate the ESSER III Funds. Please take time to voice your opinion regarding the development of the plan and use of these funds.
