McLeod Health welcomes Dr. Ardalan Sayan and Dr. Karianne Yates to the medical staff.
Dr. Sayan, a McLeod Orthopedic Surgeon, joined the medical staff of McLeod Health in August 2021. He serves patients at McLeod Orthopaedics in Dillon with Dr. Michael Sutton, and in Florence with fellow physicians Dr. Rodney Alan, Dr. Patrick Denton, Dr. Zachary DiPaolo, Dr. Art Jordan, Dr. Christopher Litts, Dr. Brandon McDonald, Dr. Jason O’Dell, Dr. Kevin Pugh, Dr. Jeremy Sparkman, Dr. Chad Thurman, and Dr. Nigel Watt. Dr. Sayan recently completed his Fellowship Training in Adult Reconstruction at the Cleveland Clinic in Florida. He specializes in adult hip and knee reconstruction, revisions and all general orthopedic care. Dr. Sayan is currently active in various orthopedic societies including the International Congress for Joint Reconstruction, the American Academy of Hip and Knee Surgeons, the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, and the American Medical Association. Dr. Yates, a family medicine physician, has joined McLeod Loris Primary Care. She most recently served on the Hospitalist team with McLeod Health Loris and McLeod Health Seacoast. “I chose to make the transition to primary care because I believe that good health starts with prevention,” said Dr. Yates. “I want to help my patients be the best version of themselves.” Board Certified in Family Medicine, Dr. Yates treats patients with a broad spectrum of health care needs, ranging from primary care to more complicated medical needs including heart disease, diabetes, lung disease, kidney disease and multi-system diseases. Additionally, she manages musculoskeletal issues and has additional training in osteopathic manipulation. Dr. Yates treats newborn, geriatric patients, and all ages in between. Dr. Yates cares for patients at McLeod Loris Primary Care with Dr. Gary Barrett and Nurse Practitioner Wanda Grainger. McLeod Loris Primary Care is located at 3109 Casey Street in Loris.
