Coker University issued the following announcement on November 2.
HARTSVILLE, SC (November 2, 2021) - Coker University has officially launched its new mission, declaring itself "A College of Leaders."
First used on its website, Coker is embracing both its 113 years of history as well as its ambitious plans for the future in using the new tagline. The university further explains that, "Coker offers a proud history of success in the classroom, on the field, on the stage, and in the community for more than a century."
On the home page of the Coker website, visitors will also find information on how Coker students "gain the knowledge & skills to pursue your passion & succeed in life."
The site also highlights how Coker University provides $17.459 in average scholarship aid to Coker students (not including federal, state, or need-based aid).
