Greater Hartsville Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement.

Help us raise $10K in 1 Day to Fund our Free Afterschool Youth Leadership Programs

We provide a lot of “firsts” to the hundreds of students who flow through our programs each year from Darlington County Schools. Here are a few examples:

• First experience hiking
• First time in a canoe
• First introduction to stress management
• First time practicing mindfulness
• First loyal friend group
• First attempt at healthy cooking
• "First time I believed in myself because it was the first time other people believed in me."

Our free after school programs cost $1,300 per student per semester. Help up give more deserving youth the joyful experience of Cypress.
