Congratulations to our Outstanding Director of the 1st Quarter of 2022, Drew McGraw, Director of Patient Financial Services.
Drew is married and has 3 children, 2 boys and 1 girl. He is a wonderful husband and father and he and his family attend St. Mary’s Church. In his spare time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and playing baseball with his kids. He is a huge fan and Bengals and Buckeyes.
Drew is always aware and involved in patient concerns in his department. He never hesitates to step in and help. He encourages his staff to follow proper procedures and guidelines to make safety and quality their focus. Drew takes the initiative to make sure his staff are equipped with what they need to succeed. His motivation and kindness are a few traits that make him the great leader he is today.
Drew has a grateful attitude that empowers his staff to make decisions that are not only for the good of the department but for the whole hospital. He is very adaptable to any given situation and shows grace and compassion to his employees. He is very genuine and honest.
He is actively involved in his department is always helping with improvements for his department. When one of his staff is faced with an issue, he will get involved and help anyway he can. He is an active listener and gives honest feedback.
Drew has a sincere and genuine attitude. He truly cares for his staff and people around him. He is real. He has a caring heart and a great sense of humor. He always makes his staff and others laugh even on the hardest of days.
One of his greatest characteristics, besides his sense of humor, is that he handles stress well. He never really shows when he’s having a hard day and doesn’t take it out on anyone else. This manager is very approachable at any time and his door is always open.
Drew is a very smart and dedicated director. He is devoted to our hospital and the needs of his staff as well as our patients’ financial situations. His staff has the highest regards for him. They say he is not just a director; he is a LEADER.
