Winter Window Decorating Contest

Dear Main Street Partner,

Here’s a great opportunity to help spread the magic of the holiday season throughout downtown Hartsville! Local businesses and partners are encouraged to participate in this year’s Winter Window Decorating Contest by decorating their windows with a festive holiday theme of their choosing. Windows must be completed by the Heart of the Holidays Open House and Tree Lighting Celebration, which is November 17th, and should remain up through at least December 26th. Downtown merchants can partner with each other, an artist, or charity of your choice, but must clearly state that on the application.

On Thursday evening, December 1st, our secret panel of judges will be making their rounds and selecting the winners, so be sure your windows are bright, well illuminated, and festive during that time. Winners will be announced on Friday, December 2nd. Bonus points will be added for any partner who incorporates “#itshartsville” into the design.

The contest is open to all businesses and partners located in the Main Street Hartsville District (hint: if you’re receiving this email, you’re in the district). Trophies (and bragging rights) will be awarded for Best Overall Winner, Best Light Display, and People’s Choice Award.

Interested businesses should complete the google form below.

Please let me know if you have any questions, and have fun with this!
