The Fiddlin’ Fluds, John, Caroline and Madelynn Rose, performed holiday music on the McLeod Concourse for patients, visitors and staff on December 5th.
The Department of Volunteer Services at McLeod Regional Medical Center has arranged for musicians from the community to entertain staff and visitors with “Joyful Sounds of the Season” during the month of December.
Musicians began offering music during the lunch hour on December 1 and will continue until December 30 between 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday through Friday. Our local performers include: Anne Beck, Curt Burr, Wayne Chapman, Alonzo Davis, Carolyn Dean, Fiddlin’ Fluds, Florence Christian music students, Bernard Giles, Susan Hiltibidal’s music students, Dana Howell, Trinity Collegiate Vocal Ensemble, The Well Chorus, and Leon Verrett.
The Grand Piano being played by many of the local musicians was donated by Dr. Andrew Rhea in memory of his son, William Rhea.
All are welcome to stop by the piano on the McLeod Concourse near the McLeod Center for Intensive Care entrance and listen to some of your holiday favorites.
