Cobras Fall to Saints in Late Season Match-Up

The Coker University Men's Basketball Team dropped a late season match-up to Limestone on Saturday Night (Feb. 4).

Jordan Jones, dropping 21 points during the game against the Saints, led his team despite the unwanted outcome. Jones was trailed by Mahmoud Bangura, Marvin Brumfield, and Zavier Measmer who combined for 41 points. As a team, Coker shot 47 percent from the field, 32.1 percent from the three point range, and 33.3 percent from the free throw line.

Bangura (8) and Jones (7) registered 16 rebounds out of the 28 total. Six other Cobras collected the remaning 12 rebounds. Coker also had 16 assists and three steals against Limestone.

Ben Gahlert scored 22 points to lead the Saints in their victory.

The Cobras will be returning to the court on Saturday (Feb. 11) against Lincoln Memorial. Tip off is set for 4:00 PM in Harrogate, Tenn. Live streaming and stats will be available at www.cokercobras.com
