City of Florence issued the following announcement on March 21.
The City of Florence will be holding a virtual Public Hearing to solicit citizen’s input on the use of the City’s 2022-2023 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) award. This virtual Public Hearing will be held on Thursday, March 31, 2022 at 5pm. For public participation, citizens will be able to access the meeting through Zoom. Any citizen who wishes to make comments must contact the City’s Community Services Department at 843-665-3175 or bbynum@cityofflorence.com before noon on Thursday, March 31, 2022, and provide your name and contact information. You will then be provided information on how to join the public hearing. When you call into the public hearing, your call will be placed in a waiting room status until recognized to speak. After the Public Hearing the City will continue to receive public comments until April 8, 2022. You may contact the City’s Community Services Department at 843-665-3175 or bbynum@cityofflorence.com to provide comments.
