Tree Planting Ceremony
The City of Florence celebrated Arbor Day with the planting of a Nuttall Oak Tree at Iola Jones Park. Also planted was a Japanese Cedar Tree by the Azalea Home & Garden Club and a Redbud Tree by the 4-H students from Theodore Lester Elementary.
We would like to thank Duke Energy for partnering with the City for the last several years in the Arbor Day Tree Planting Ceremony and providing the funding for this year’s tree.
