James E. Clyburn, a U.S. Congressman representing South Carolina’s 6th district, shared several updates on social media regarding health insurance enrollment deadlines, infrastructure developments, and personal insights from his political career. Clyburn has been serving in Congress since 1993 and continues to engage with constituents through various platforms.

On December 8, 2024, Clyburn reminded his followers of the approaching deadline to enroll in or change their Affordable Care Act (ACA) Marketplace plan. He highlighted that due to expanded subsidies under President Biden's Inflation Reduction Act, "4 in 5 people can get coverage for just $10/month." He urged individuals to visit the ACA website to find a suitable plan before the December 15 deadline. "The deadline to enroll in or change your ACA Marketplace plan is one week away on December 15."

On December 9, 2024, Clyburn commented on President Biden's Infrastructure Law and Rescue Plan, noting that these initiatives have allocated billions of dollars towards expanding high-speed internet access across the country. He expressed pride in South Carolina's leadership role in this endeavor and the progress made thus far. "President Biden's Infrastructure Law and Rescue Plan invested billions of dollars to expand high-speed internet to every person in this country."

On December 10, 2024, Clyburn took a moment from his schedule to participate in an episode of Politics Aside with Chris Cillizza on MonSportsNet. During this engagement, he demonstrated his putting skills and reflected on how sharing a round of golf has been effective for building relationships throughout his decades-long political career. "Took a moment out of my schedule this morning to show off my putting skills with @ChrisCillizza for a new episode of Politics Aside on @MonSportsNet."
