James E. Clyburn, a U.S. Congressman representing South Carolina’s 6th district, recently shared several posts on social media addressing a range of topics from Medicare enrollment to historical reflections and political opinions.

On December 3, 2024, Clyburn reminded his audience that the Medicare Open Enrollment Period was concluding soon. He stated, "The Medicare Open Enrollment Period ends this Saturday, December 7. If you are eligible for Medicare, now is the time to join or make changes to your existing coverage." He directed those interested to visit a specific website for more information.

In a post dated December 4, 2024, Clyburn expressed his stance on Hunter Biden's legal situation by stating that "Hunter Biden was selectively, and unfairly, targeted. I support the President's decision to pardon him."

Reflecting on historical achievements on December 5, 2024, Clyburn commemorated Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune's founding of the National Council of Negro Women (NCNW). He highlighted its impact by saying "89 years ago, Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune founded the National Council of Negro Women to lead and empower women of African descent." He noted that NCNW has empowered millions in their fight for education and social justice.
