McLeod Health welcomes Marlo D. Bruno, DO, and Kerolos Rizk, DO, to the medical staff.
Dr. Bruno serves as a Physician Advisor for Case Management for McLeod Health. In this role, She will work as a physician leader and liaison providing expertise for medical care review, utilization management, clinical documentation, risk management, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance. Dr. Bruno will also serve as a member of the Hospitalists teams at all McLeod inpatient hospitals. Board certified in Internal Medicine, Dr. Bruno received her medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 2011. She completed her internal medicine residency at Lankenau Medical Center, Wynnewood, Pennsylvania in 2014. Dr. Bruno comes to McLeod from Tidelands Health, where she had served since 2014 as a Hospitalist and as a Physician Advisor since 2016. A native of Pennsylvania, Dr. Bruno and her husband, Jeremy Doucette, are proud parents of three children, one son and twin girls.
A oncologist/hematologist, Dr. Rizk joins McLeod Oncology and Hematology Associates at Seacoast, a Department of McLeod Regional Medical Center. He works with Dr. Donny Huynh in caring for patients in the coastal region. Fellowship trained in Hematology and Oncology, Dr. Rizk specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of all cancer types including blood disorders. Some of his specialties include gastrointestinal cancer, kidney cancer and melanoma. Dr. Rizk received his medical degree from the DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine, Harrogate, Tennessee in 2015. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Greenville in 2019, and a Fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at the University of Missouri in Columbia in 2022. In his spare time, Dr. Rizk enjoys watching sports , traveling, and attending car shows. Dr. Rizk and his wife, Amanda, have two small boys, Noah and Seth. Dr. Rizk welcomes new patients by referral.
